FROSTED OATMEAL BARS 
4 c. old fashioned oats
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. softened butter
1/2 c. light Karo syrup

Mix above ingredients together. Pour into two glass pie dishes; pat mixture down evenly. Microwave each dish separately for 3 1/2 minutes on high power. Make sure entire surface is bubbly hot. Cool.

Mix: 6 ounces chocolate chips with 3/4 cup peanut butter in small glass bowl. Microwave on high power for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir mixture thoroughly and spread on cookie base in pie dishes. Chill until chocolate mixture is thoroughly set. Keep in refrigerator. They will be somewhat difficult to cut while cold; may want to remove them from refrigerator for awhile prior to serving.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
