FROSTED OATMEAL BARS | |
2 c. quick cooking oats 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. honey 1/2 c. chocolate bits 1/4 c. peanut butter In medium bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, butter, and honey. Microwave at high for 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 minutes, or until bubbly, stirring 2 times. Spread in an 8x8 inch baking dish. Cool. In small bowl, combine chocolate bits and peanut butter. Microwave at high for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until chocolate bits are soft, stirring once. Stir and spread over oatmeal base. Cool. Cut into 16 squares about 2 inches each. |
