HOMINY CASSEROLE 
1 (16 oz.) can hominy
1 (10 oz.) can celery soup
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 (2 1/2 oz.) can mushroom buttons, drained and sliced
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. half & half cream
1/2 lb. slivered almonds
1 c. buttered bread crumbs

Drain hominy and place in buttered casserole. Mix soup, salt, pepper, mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, and cream. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until well blended. Add almonds. Pour soup mixture over hominy. Cover with buttered crumbs and bake in 350 degree oven for 1/2 hour.

This dish may be prepared ahead, refrigerated, and baked later.
