CHILLY DILLY BEANS 
"A Tangy Side Dish"

1 lb. fresh green beans
1 1/2 c. water
1/4 c. white wine vinegar
1/4 c. dry white wine
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. sliced red onion
1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms

Cut beans diagonally into 1 inch pieces. bring water to boil in medium sauce pan. Add beans; cover and reduce heat. Simmer 12 to 15 minutes or until crisp tender. Drain. In small sauce pan combine vinegar, wine, salt, dill weed, garlic powder, oil and sugar. Simmer over medium heat 2 minutes. Combine vinegar mixture with green beans, onions and mushrooms. Chill, covered, stirring occasionally. Serve as relish or salad. Makes 2 cups.
