OLD FASHIONED APPLE CRUMB PIE 
2/3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
4 c. peeled and sliced apples
1 Pet-Ritz deep dish pie crust
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
Whipped cream - if desired

Preheat oven and baking sheet to 400 degrees. In large bowl, combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg - mix well. Add apple slices and mix until apples are evenly coated - spoon into unbaked pie shell.

For crumb topping, combine flour, butter and brown sugar - mix with fork until crumbly. Sprinkle on top of apples. Place pie shell on baking sheet. Bake in 400 degree oven for 30-40 minutes. Allow to cool 1 hour before serving. Top with whipped cream if desired.
