LILLIAN'S STRAWBERRY DESSERT 
1/2 lb. vanilla wafers, crumbled
1 pt. strawberries (or more)
1/2 lb. (32) marshmallows
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
2 c. whipping cream, whipped

Melt marshmallows with milk and sugar over low heat. Cool. Add whipped cream, folding in. Meanwhile, spread most of the wafer crumbs in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Place whole berries on crumbs. Carefully spoon on the marshmallow mixture. Put rest of crumbs on top.

I use 1 quart.
