CHINESE SALAD 
1 pkg. Ramen Oriental noodles, chicken preferred
1/2 head cabbage, shredded
4-5 green onions, sliced
1 (4 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds
1/4 c. sesame or sunflower seeds
1 can water chestnuts, sliced

DRESSING:

1/2 c. oil
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt

Add package flavoring from noodles. Mix well and crumble dry noodles, uncooked, into dressing mixture. Let set 2 hours or overnight, then add to cabbage mixture.
