ORANGE CORNSTARCH PUDDING | |
My grandmother passed this to my mom and she made for us... YUMMY! 1/2 cup sugar 3 heaping tbsp. cornstarch 2 1/2 cups milk dash sea salt 1 tsp. vanilla 2-3 small oranges Mix sugar and cornstarch together, removing lumps. Add milk and salt then vanilla. Cook till thickened. Be careful not to scorch. Remove from heat and let cool. When cool, cut up two or three small oranges. You can add a small amount of juice to pudding. Just not too much as it will thin out pudding. Variation: May add other fruits to taste; strawberries, raspberries, etc.. Submitted by: Jessie Poore |
