1 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix in heavy skillet. Cook until mixture boils. Add:

6 cooked sweet potatoes

Cook slowly, turning occasionally, about 20 minutes, or until potatoes have a caramel-like glaze.
