SWEET AND SOUR CABBAGE 
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 lb. green and/or red cabbage, coarsely chopped
1/3 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. caraway seeds
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. flour

Cook onions in oil in large skillet until tender, stirring often. Add cabbage. Cook over medium high heat until lightly colored, stirring often. Mix in vinegar, water, caraway seed, salt, and pepper. Bring to boil. Lower heat; cover and simmer 30-35 minutes until tender. sprinkle sugar and flour over cabbage, mix well. Cook 1 minute. Makes 6 servings.
