SWEET & SOUR CABBAGE 
2 to 3 tbsp. white wine vinegar
Artificial sweetener to equal 6 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 peppercorns
4 whole cloves
2 bay leaves
Dash ground coriander
Dash freshly ground pepper
4 c. thinly sliced red cabbage
1 tbsp. + 1 tsp. butter
1 c. chopped onion
2 sm. green apples, pared, cored, chopped

Combine vinegar, sweetener, and seasonings.

Add cabbage and toss well - set aside to marinate for 1 hour.

Melt butter.

Add onions and saute until translucent.

Add cabbage and marinade to skillet.

Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

Stir in apples and simmer 10 minutes longer.

Makes 4 servings - 117 calories per serving.
