SWEET AND SOUR CABBAGE
(MICROWAVE)
 
4 c. shredded cabbage
2 apples, peeled, cored & finely chopped
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. vinegar

Place cabbage in a 1-1/2-quart glass casserole. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over cabbage. Cook, covered on HIGH for 9 to 10 minutes, or until cabbage is tender. Stir once during cooking. Makes 4 to 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
