BARBECUED BUTTER BEANS 
1 can tomato soup
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. dry mustard
1/2 lb. bacon, raw, cut in pieces
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
3 cans butter beans, drained

Mix soup, sugar, and dry mustard in the bottom of a crock pot or baking dish. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix. Cook in crock pot on low about 8 hours, high about 4 hours, or in the oven at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until the onion and pepper is tender.
