APPETIZING MEXICAN ROLLUPS | |
An easy appetizer! 5 tortilla wraps (flour or whole wheat) romaine lettuce leaves sliced black olives (for garnish) toothpicks CREAM CHEESE AND SALSA MIX: 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1/2 cup salsa (your choice) 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 2 tsp. cumin 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes 2 tsp. cilantro (dried or fresh) splash of hot sauce (optional) Empty cream cheese into mixing bowl. Add salsa and remaining ingredients. Blend together very well. Spread onto tortilla wraps (make sure to get to the edges). Using kitchen shears, cut the lettuce and spread around on top. (you don’t need a lot). Wrap tightly, cover and refrigerate for about an hour. Slice into appetizers and pin with a toothpick. Garnish with a black olive on top! Enjoy! Submitted by: Kim Grusendorf |
