APPLE DUMPLINGS 
2 c. sugar
2 c. water
2 tbsp. cinnamon candy hearts
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter (cook for 5 minutes)

DOUGH:

3/4 c. Crisco
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk

Peel and core apples. Wrap in a square of dough (do not sweeten). Put in pan and bake for 20 minutes in a 375 degree oven then pour liquid over and continue baking until brown.
