PORK ROAST WITH SAUERKRAUT 
3 to 4 lbs. pork roast
Salt, pepper, garlic, and paprika
1 lg. onion, sliced thin
2 jars sauerkraut

Rub desired amount of spices into meat well and brown roast. Add onions and pressed garlic to roast and continue to brown until onions are light brown. Add a little hot water and let simmer; repeat this 3 to 4 times. Then add more water and bake roast until half done. Take roast out. Put sauerkraut (rinsed) into roasting pan. Fill with water until sauerkraut is covered. Add meat and bake until finished at 375 degrees. Use meat thermometer. Serve with mashed potatoes and hot buns.
