HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. celery salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. bacon, cut in pieces
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp. cornstarch mixed with 1/2 c. water
1 sm. onion, chopped
4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
8 potatoes, diced and cooked

Brown bacon slightly. Add vinegar, water, sugar, mustard, and celery salt. Cook until water dissolves. Add 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with the water. Add the onion, eggs, and potatoes. Keep on simmer several hours before serving.
