BANANA BRAN GEMS | |
1 c. shreds of whole bran cereal 3/4 c. milk 1 c. flour 1/4 c. wheat germ 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 3 tbsp. honey 2 tbsp. oil 1/2 c. mashed banana 1 egg Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray Pam in 12-cup muffin tin. In medium bowl, combine cereal and milk; set aside. In a large bowl, combine flour, wheat germ, baking powder, salt and cinnamon; mix well. To cereal mixture, add honey, oil, banana, and egg; stir until well blended. Add to flour mixture all at once, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Fill muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes. |
