BACON-STEAK ROLLS
1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut 1/2" thick
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
5 slices bacon, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. instant minced onion
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. flour

Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper. Cut meat into serving pieces. Place 2 tablespoons chopped bacon and 1/4 teaspoon minced onion in center of each piece of meat. Roll pieces up and secure with toothpicks.

In large fry pan or over going pan, brown meat rolls in oil. Bake, covered at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until steak is tender. Remove steak rolls from pan. Drain fat, reserving meat juices. Combine milk and flour. Add to meat juices. Simmer, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens and comes to a boil. Add steak rolls to sauce. Simmer 5 minutes. Serve steak rolls with sauce. Yield: 5 servings.
