APPLE CRISP 
4 c. apples, peeled & sliced
1/2 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
5 tbsp. butter

Slice apples into a shallow pan. Pour water over apples. Mix other ingredients as for pie crust and pour over apples and water. Do not stir together. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
