PICKLED OKRA 
2 lbs. (sm.) okra
5 pods hot pepper
5 cloves garlic
3 c. white vinegar
6 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. celery seed or mustard seed
1 c. water

Wash okra and pack in 5 hot sterilized jars. Put one pepper pod and one peeled garlic clove in each jar. Bring remaining ingredients and water to a boil. Pour over okra to within 1/2 inch of top and seal. Process for 5 minutes.
