PICKLED OKRA 
4 to 6 lb. fresh okra
3 1/2 c. cider vinegar
3/4 c. water
6 tbsp. salt
(Place in each jar)
1 tsp. dill seed
2 cloves garlic
1 hot pepper

Wash okra and place in clean hot jars with dill, garlic and pepper. Bring vinegar, water, and salt to boil. Fill jars to 1/2 inch from top. Tighten lids on jars and place in simmering water bath for 5 minutes. Wait one month before eating.
