BAKED DOUGHNUTS 
5 tbsp. butter, creamed
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk

GLAZE:

6 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix butter, sugar and egg together; add dry ingredients and milk alternately. Blend well. Fill buttered muffin tins 1/2 full. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

For Glaze: Melt butter and stir in sugar and cinnamon. Remove from tins, pour glaze over doughnuts. Yields 10-12 muffins.
