GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 heaping tsp. mustard
Lump butter
2 heaping tbsp. cornstarch
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. vinegar
1 1/2 c. water

Combine all ingredients and cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Cool. Add onion and celery. This can be used with potatoes or macaroni.
