3/4 cup pitted chopped prunes
1/2 cup dark raisins
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup Equal® Spoonful*

Date-Nut Bars with Equal

 Dee whitcomb (Minnesota) says:
I would call this a cake, not bars. It is soft and raises up to the top of the pan. It is very good warm and would be nice served with some whipped topping. I was experimenting with recipes for bars for a 60th Anniversary party for my parents. This does not really fit into the bar category. I would make it again for a small cake, however. It is very tasty and packed with fiber!
