SPLIT PEA SOUP | |
4 c. water 1 (12 oz.) pkg. dried split peas 1 c. chopped onion 1 c. chopped celery 1/4 tsp. ground thyme 1 pinch cloves 1/2 c. chopped carrots Combine all ingredients in a 2 quart casserole and cover. Set microwave and power level high for 15 minutes and power level low and defrost for 60 minutes. Stir occasionally. Turn soup into blender and puree. |
