“HUNGARIAN CHICKEN AND NOODLES” IS IN:

HUNGARIAN CHICKEN AND NOODLES 
1 (4-5 lb.) whole chicken, cut up
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup water
1 tsp. paprika
salt and pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder (or 2 cloves, minced)
1 cup light cream
4 cups onions, diced

Brown chicken in butter. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. Remove chicken and set aside.

Sauté onions, (minced garlic if using) paprika, and water until onions are tender. Arrange chicken in a 2 quart casserole and bake for 1 hour at 350°F or until the breast reaches 155°F.

Remove from oven and allow to sit for 5 minutes; add cream and serve over hot buttered noodles.

Yield: 4 servings
