CHOCOLATE CAKE BROWNIES 
2 c. sugar
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. butter
1/4 c. cocoa
1 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour and sugar in large bowl. Combine butter, cocoa and water; bring to a boil. Pour over flour and sugar mixture. Add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and vanilla; mix well. Pour into pan, 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes; or in a jelly roll pan for 15-20 minutes.

ICING:

1/2 c. butter
6 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. cocoa
1 box confectioners' sugar
1 c. chopped nuts

Prepare 5 minutes before you take the cake out. Combine butter, cocoa and milk in pan and bring to a boil. Pour over other ingredients and beat until smooth then add nuts. Spread over cake while hot.
