CHOCOLATE CAKE OR BROWNIES &
FROSTING
 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix these well. In small pan combine: 2 sticks butter 4 tbsp. cocoa

Bring to boil. Pour over batter. Mix well. Pour in 12 x 15 inch pan or 2 round pans. To make brownies pour in cookie sheet, 1 inch deep. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 or 30 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. buttermilk
1 lb. powdered sugar

Bring to boil, remove from heat and add powdered sugar.
