MEAT & TATER PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. dry onion soup mix
1 tsp. Nature Seasons or dash or pepper
1/2 lg. onion, optional
Dash of allspice
1 pkg. (12 oz.) loose pack frozen hash browns (I like hash browns O'Brien, thawed)
Pastry for 2 crust pie

Line pie pan with pastry. Combine meat, milk, soup mix, pepper, allspice and onion; mix well. Add the thawed hash browns and stir until well blended.

Spread and pat into the pie pan, evenly. Top with other pastry and seal. Cut design for steam to escape. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until brown.
