CINNAMON CRISPIES 
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/3 tbsp. baking powder
1 1/3 tbsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. cinnamon
4 c. quick cooking oats
1 3/4 c. chopped nuts
2 1/4 c. shortening
4 1/2 c. sugar
4 1/3 tbsp. molasses (1/3 c.)
1 tbsp. vanilla
4 lg. eggs

Sift dry ingredients together except sugar. Mix in nuts. Cream shortening and sugar until blended. Add molasses, vanilla and eggs to the creamed mixture and beat to blend. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Roll in small balls or drop by spoonful on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 100-130 cookies.
