BAKED BARBECUED PORK CHOPS 
Thick cut pork chops (about 16 oz. each)
Water
Brown sugar
Barbecue sauce

In a large roasting pan, marinate chops overnight, covered with water and a generous amount of brown sugar. About 1/3 cup per chop. When ready to bake, remove chops from marinade or drain it off. Cover chops with a barbecue sauce and cover pan tightly. Bake for 1 1/2 to 3 hours, depending on thickness of chops at 325 degrees.
