PASTRY 
7 tbsp. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. boiling water
1 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 c. plain flour

Measure shortening and salt into medium bowl; add water and milk. Whip with fork until water is absorbed and mixture is as thick as whipped cream. Dump in flour, mix until a ball forms. Roll out on floured surface.
