1 lb. cream cheese 1 lb. butter 4 c. self-rising cake flour 4 c. sugar 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla 12 eggs Makes 5 small loaves 7 x 3 1/4 inch, or 3 loaves 12 x 3 1/2 inch. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Good frozen. Good with fruit. Take wedge out of top, fill with whipped cream, return top and frost with favorite chocolate icing. While still hot place Andes mints on top for quick frosting. While still hot pour mixture of 1/3 cup sugar and juice of one lemon for lemon cake. Recipe may be cut in 1/2, STILL GREAT! |
