MAMMY'S MEATLOAF
I have people call and ask me to make this for them when they come to visit. Its my mother in law's recipe.

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
3 slices of bread
1 cup milk
1 env. dry onion soup mix (Lipton)
1 egg
couple sprigs minced parsley (or a couple shakes of dried flakes)
salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup ketchup, for top (Hunts)

Break up 3 slices of bread and let soak in milk.

Mix ground beef, onion soup mix, egg, parsley, salt/pepper and milk/bread mixture. Shape into loaf and place in center of glass baking dish. Spread ketchup over top.

Bake at 350°F for 60 to 75 minutes.

Note: I sometimes substitute the dry onion soup mix for onion mushroom.
