LEISHA'S CHICKEN NOODLE PORK CHOP CASSEROLE | |
Made this recipe by accident. Was supposed to be 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup but opened cans of chicken noodle by mistake... It tasted great! 4 pork chops 5 cups cooked rice 1 (15 oz.) can vegetables, drained (your choice) 2 (10 oz. ea.) cans chicken noodle soup 1 env. onion soup mix (Lipton) 1 can water (use empty soup can) 2 cups grated cheese season, to taste Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook rice then mix with 1 can veggies of choice. Mix both cans of chicken noodle soup and pack of onion soup mix together with 1 can of water. Put rice into casserole dish and pour half of soup mix over rice. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Brown pork chops and season to taste on both sides and place on top of casserole. Pour rest of soup mix on top of pork chops. Place casserole into 350°F oven and bake about 30 to 45 minutes or until pork chops are thoroughly cooked. Can cook covered or uncovered, your choice. Variation: Substitute cream of mushroom for chicken noodle. Serves 4 to 6. Submitted by: Leisha N. (Rollie) |
