3 c. chunk walnuts
1 (3 oz.) pitted dates
1 c. maraschino cherries
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. flour, sifted
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder & salt
3 eggs

Grease a loaf pan and line bottom and sides with wax paper. In a large mixing bowl, put nuts, dates (cut in 1/2), cherries (cut in half) in another bowl. Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix with fruit in another bowl.

Beat eggs well. Add vanilla. Mix thoroughly with above mixture. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Immediately turn baked cake on rack and remove wax paper. Delicious - Delicious - Delicious!
