HAWAIIAN DESSERT 
1 lb. vanilla wafers
2 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 lg. can crushed pineapple, drained
Sliced bananas
Walnuts
1/2 pt. whipped cream
Pinch of cream of tartar

Crush 1 pound of vanilla wafers, put 3/4 of the amount in bottom of 9x13 inch pan.

FIRST LAYER: Beat until creamy the powdered sugar, eggs, butter and vanilla. Spoon this mixture over crumbs in pan.

SECOND LAYER: Add drained crushed pineapple.

THIRD LAYER: Sliced bananas and walnuts.

FOURTH LAYER: Whipped cream with cream of tartar.

FIFTH LAYER: Top with remaining crumbs. Chill for 4 hours or overnight.
