MOM'S PINEAPPLE FREEZER DESSERT
FROM THE 50'S
 
1 c. pineapple juice
1/2 c. orange juice
Dash of salt
24 marshmallows
1 c. heavy cream, whipped
20 vanilla wafers

Combine juices and salt. Bring to a boil. Add marshmallows and stir until dissolved; cool. Fold in whipped cream. Alternate layers of mixture and wafers in a narrow freezer tray or loaf pan, using wafers for top and bottom. Freeze until firm. Cut in small squares since this is a fairly rich dessert.
