POOR MAN'S STEAK 
3 lbs. lean ground beef
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. fine saltine cracker crumbs
1 c. water
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can water
Flour

Mix all except last 2 ingredients and pat into pan or cookie sheet, 1/2 inch thick. Let set overnight or 8 hours. Cut in squares. Roll in flour and fry until light brown. Put in slow cooker, cover with soup mixed with water. Cook for 6 to 8 hours on low. Good for Sunday lunch!
