APRICOT DESSERT 
1 (17 oz.) can apricot halves
1 (6 oz.) pkg. apricot flavor Jello
2 c. boiling water
1 c. Cool Whip whipped topping

Drain apricots, saving syrup. Add water to syrup to make 2 cups. Slice apricots and set aside 12 slices for garnish.

Dissolve gelatin in 2 cups boiling water. Add the 2 cups syrup/water mixture. Remove from stove and let cool until slightly thickened; set aside 1 cup and fold apricots into remaining gelatin. Spoon into dessert glasses and chill until set.

Blend whipped topping into reserved gelatin and spoon onto dessert. Garnish with set aside 12 apricot slices. Chill until set. Makes 6 cups or 12 servings.
