PORK CHOP CASSEROLE 
6 (1/2 inch) thick pork chops
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. Heinz 57 sauce
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. uncooked white rice
Tomato slices and pepper rings

Trim excess fat from pork chops, slowly brown chops in skillet. Season with salt and pepper; remove. Drain drippings. Combine 1 1/2 cups water, 1/2 cup Heinz 57 sauce, 1/4 cup chopped onions, and 1/2 teaspoon salt in same skillet; bring just to a boil. Meanwhile, spread 2/3 cup uncooked regular white rice in 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inch baking dish. Pour hot mixture over rice; top with chops. Place a tomato slice and a pepper ring on each chop. Cover and bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until chops are tender. Fluff rice with fork before serving.
