LORETTA'S CRUMB CAKE | |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 12 x 18 x 2 pan. 1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix 4 eggs 1 env. Dream Whip 1 c. water 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla Beat this for 4 minutes at high speed. Pour into pan and bake 20 to 25 minutes. Slowly melt 1 pound of butter. Then add 3 teaspoons of vanilla to butter. Mix together in another large bowl 4 cups of flour, 1 1/3 cups sugar, 3 teaspoons cinnamon and 1 pinch of salt. Now add melted butter to dry ingredients and knead this altogether with hands. After cake is finished baking remove from oven, but leave in pan. Put crumbs on top, breaking them up by hand and put them on the cake. Return to oven for 20 minutes. Let cool then sprinkle with confectioners sugar and enjoy. |
