BEAN CHOWDER 
1 tbsp. oil
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 pt. tomatoes
1 qt. canned pinto beans
1/2 c. catsup
1 pkg. chili seasoning
1/2 tsp. salt

Heat oil in skillet. Add ground beef; brown. Add onions and cook until transparent. Add remaining ingredients. Cover, bring to a boil on medium heat, turn to simmer and cook for 30 minutes. Put in a dish and sprinkle cheese over; serve hot.
