TACO SALAD 
1 sm. head of lettuce
1 bunch green onions
3 lg. tomatoes
1 sm. bag Dorito nacho cheese chips
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
1/4 tsp. salt
1 lb. ground beef
1 avocado (optional)
Taco sauce to taste

Chop lettuce, onions, tomatoes and avocado. Grate and add cheese. Crush and add chips. Brown ground beef, add salt and taco sauce. Add beans and simmer 10 minutes. Mix into cold salad and toss with Thousand Island dressing. Serve as soon as possible.
