MICROWAVE CARAMEL POPCORN 
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter, melted
1/4 c. white syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda
4 qts. popped popcorn
Brown paper bag (grocery sack)

Mix brown sugar, butter and white syrup. Put in microwave and bring to boil. Boil 1 1/2 minutes. Remove from microwave. Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda and stir. Put popped popcorn in brown bag. Pour caramel sauce over popcorn and return to microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Take bag out and shake. Return to microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Remove and shake; if humid, return to microwave for 30 seconds. Pour popcorn into large bowl and stir occasionally until cooled.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
