BEEF BRISKET | |
3 lbs. beef brisket 1 bottle soy sauce 1 c. water 2 beef bouillon cubes Juice of 1 lemon 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1 c. ketchup 4 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 4 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. liquid smoke Marinate brisket overnight in soy sauce, water, bouillon, lemon juice and garlic salt. Pour off liquid. Sprinkle brisket with paprika and wrap in foil. Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours or until tender. Cool and slice. SAUCE: Mix together ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar. Simmer 10 minutes. Add liquid smoke. Cover brisket with sauce, wrap in foil. Bake at 300 degrees 1 hour. |
