MORAVIAN COOKIES 
1 qt. molasses
3/4 lb. brown sugar
1/2 lb. butter
1/4 lb. Crisco shortening
3 lb. plain flour
2 tbsp. cloves
2 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. allspice
1 tbsp. ginger
1 tbsp. baking soda

Mix all ingredients together and set in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 days. Roll onto floured board, cut out cookies with cookie cutters and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 9 to 10 minutes in 275 degree oven.
