TEXAS SHEET CAKE 
2 sticks butter
6 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 c. water
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda

Put water, butter, and cocoa in pan and bring to boil. Mix sugar, flour, eggs, sour cream, salt, and baking soda. Pour boiled mixture into this and stir well. Bake in jelly roll pan at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes or in a 9x13 inch pan for 25-30 minutes.

FROSTING:

1/4 lb. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 lb. powdered sugar
6 tsp. milk
Nuts (optional)

Bring butter, cocoa, and milk to a boil. Pour over powdered sugar and add vanilla. Mix well and pour over cake while cake is warm.
