BRAN MUFFINS | |
1 c. flour (all-purpose or whole wheat) 1 tsp. baking soda 1 1/2 c. bran 1/2 c. raisins 1 egg, well beaten 1/2 c. molasses or honey 3/4 c. milk 2 tbsp. soft butter or shortening Combine dry ingredients and raisins; moisten well with egg and honey, milk and shortening. Stir only enough to blend. Bake in well greased muffin tins at 400 for 20 to 30 minutes. |
